World Championship of Hockey - Monday
« on: May 20, 2019, 02:39:22 PM »
France - Great Brittain 1.28 - 6.50 - 7.50

Last match of the tournament for both teams. Both teams still have something to play for, since there is only one point between them. Great Brittain has to win after overtime or in regular time to avoid relegation. So basically loser of this match will be relegated. France has scored little under 2 goals on average while giving away 5 per game. GB is scoring little under one goal on average, while giving away little over 6 goals on average.

After left without a point yesterday Damien Fleury and Anthony Rech lead France in points (1+3 each). GB's Mike Hammond has three goals, and leads the team in points aswell. France is a favorite, and their material is better than GB's. GB has to defend their hearts out in this game and also manage to score enough to get two or three points. And since France isn't scoring much either I'll go for a low scoring game.

PICKS:
1st period under 1,5 goals 2.02
Under 5,5 goals 2.08

Sweden - Latvia 1.10 - 11.00 - 17.00

After losing to Czech Republic in their opening game, Sweden has won all of their other 4 games, latest win being against Switzerland 4-3. Latvia has won two games out of five, which secures them a place in World Championships next year too. They can't get into knockout stages though, so this game has nothing into it for Latvia. Sweden can in theory get 1st place in group, but it requires Czech Republic losing to Switzerland and also Sweden beating both Latvia and Russia in regulation.

Sweden has been destroying all the small countries, which has their goals for per game average set to 6 and little bit over. They are giving away 2 goals per game on average. Latvia is scoring 2,5 ish goals per game on average, giving away the same. William Nylander (4+9) leads Sweden in points, while Patric Hörnqvist (5) leads them in goals. Rudolfs Balcers (1+6) still leads Latvia in points  Lauris Darzins (3) leads them in goals.

Latvia held Russia and Switzerland down to 3 goals when they played against them. In histrory between these teams, Sweden has scored more than three goals against Latvia once in five past meetings. Under 5,5 gives good odds. Latvia hasn't given away a single goal in 1st period in past four games.

PICKS:
Under 5,5 goals
1st period under 1,5 goals 1.96

Austria - Italy 1.24 - 6.75 - 9.00

Two worst teams in the group B. This game decides the team that gets relegated. Both teams have 0 points going in to this last game. Austria has scored 1 goal on average per game, while giving away 6 goals on average. Italy has scored only once in the whole tournament, as they went first 5 games without scoring. They have given away 45 goals in 6 games, which means 7,5 goals per game on average. Italy is the worst team in the whole tournament, and are more than likely relegating.

Peter Schneider (1+2) leads Austria in points. Angelo Miceli, Armin Helfer and Simon Kostner all have one point each, obviously being only point scorers for Italy. Austria played last game with 3 lines only, playing without Schneider and Michael Raffl. Austria will win this game, and survive the relegation.

PICK:
Austria -2,5 1.88
Austria over 3,5 goals 1.70

Canada - Denmark 1.05 - 14.00 - 23.00

After losing their opener to Finland, Canada has won all of their games, latest win being against Germany 8-1. Denmark got clapped by USA in previous game 1-7. Denmark has nothing to play for in this game, Canada still has a chance to get second, and even the first place, if Finland loses to Germany tomorrow. Canada is scoring 5,5 ish goals per game on average, while giving away little over 2 per game. Denmark is scoring 3,5 ish goals on average while giving away almost the same. Anthony Mantha (7+4) leads Canada in points while Lars Eller (2+3) is doing the same for Denmark. Mantha (7) also leads Canada in goals, Mark Stone (5) is second in goals for them.

Canada will come in to this game all guns loaded and will tear Denmark a new one, still having that number one spot in sight.

PICKS:
Canada -4,5 2.10
Canada over 5,5 goals 2.07
Anthony Mantha 2 points or more 2.00
Mark Stone will score 1.82

Some lower odd picks to combine for doubling etc.

France -1,5 1.45
Damien Fleury 1 point or more 1.42
Latvia under 1,5 goals 1.47

More points (W.Nylander - E. Pettersson) - W. Nylander 1.65
Italy under 1,5 goals 1.58
Austria -1,5 1.41
Canada over 4,5 goals 1.46
Denmark under 1,5 goals 1.48

Thomas Chabot 1 point  or more 1.42
