Moved here from the UK about two years ago and honestly the one thing I still haven't figured out is where to take my car for regular maintenance without getting ripped off. I drive a BMW 4 series and the first place I tried near Business Bay charged me for "inspection" and then quoted some insane number for brakes that I'm pretty sure didn't need replacing yet. I haven't pulled the trigger yet because I'm the type who over-researches everything, so I guess I'm asking here instead. Does anyone actually use these comparison type services or do you just go by word of mouth? Also curious if sticking to one garage matters for resale value here or if nobody really cares as long as there's a service history.
